This workshop showcases how Hayes Primary School sustains attendance above 95% through a whole-school, relational approach. We will share how a strong culture of belonging and mattering supports engagement and prevents persistent absence.
Visiting schools will explore how we work collaboratively with families, using supportive and proactive attendance conversations rooted in partnership rather than punitive approaches. The session will highlight practical systems, pastoral strategies and real case studies that can be adapted to different school contexts.
Attendees will leave with clear, transferable tools and approaches to strengthen attendance practice, aligned with RISE guidance and national expectations.
