EastBio Symposium 2026: Research in an Evolving World
Register for the EastBio Symposium 2026 by Friday 20th Feb.
Welcome to the EastBio Symposium 2026!
Date: 24-25th June 2026
Location: John McIntyre Conference Centre, The University of Edinburgh
Join us for two days filled with exciting talks, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities. The Symposium schedule has been designed by EastBio student reps and will bring together supervisors, students, and guest speakers to discuss what it means to do biosciences research in an ever-evolving world.
The Symposium will provide an opportunity for EastBio students to share their research through poster presentations and short talks. We hope to get a sense of that research taking place in the EastBio community, and understand how it crosses disciplinary boundaries and seeks to address the shifting priorities and challenges of our world.
It is mandatory for all year 1 and 2 EastBio students to attend both days (with thematic sessions optional for year 2). Supervisors and other EastBio students may attend one or two days as they choose.
