Get involved in our volunteering events taking place this year.

Wetland meadows are a vital habitat for a large number of species, including reptiles, amphibians, insects, birds, plants, and many others. To ensure they remain in the best condition, a structured management program of cutting and clearing the more vigourous grasses and plants, such as bramble and bracken, is carried out annually, and we need your help to do that!This task is a fantastic oppurtunity to learn more about the woods, meadows and the work carried out by the Natural Envirnoment team, and to help create and maintain the areas that are so important to our wildlife, our visitors and the residents of Jersey.Adults and children welcome, though all children under 16 must be supervised by an appropriate adult.Tools and gloves will be provided, though if you have your own, feel free to bring them along.Please bring your own refreshments, including lots of water, it can get quite hot and steamy in the meadow!Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes/boots/wellies
