Overview

A hands-on volunteering opportunity with the Natural Environment team helping to cut and process willow creating dead hedges.

Pond management is essential for maintaining healthy aquatic habitats and regular management enhances biodiversity, supports rare species, and ensures ponds remain vibrant ecosystems for plants and wildlife.

You'll help remove overgrown vegetation from the pond.

We'll meet at the carpark by St Brelade's social club.

Please bring your own refreshments.

Tools will be provided.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes / boots. If you have gardening gloves you are welcome to bring them with you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your volunteer hours and make a positive difference to a protected and sensitive site.
