Care  Inspectorate: Consultation on our Corporate Plan 2022-2025

The Care Inspectorate regulates care services for people of all ages in Scotland.  Our work includes registering services, inspecting and grading them, dealing with complaints, carrying out enforcement action where necessary and helping services improve.  We also provide scrutiny of all Scottish local authority social work services, including criminal justice social work.  We carry out joint inspections with colleagues from other organisations such as police, health, education and scrutiny bodies to check how successful services are at working together to deliver the best support for adults and children.  Our inspection reports are public documents and are available on our website www.careinspectorate.com

Help shape our new Corporate Plan 2022-2025.

Our current Corporate Plan set out our vision, purpose, and values for the 2019 – 2022 period. It also set out our business model, three strategic outcomes and the key principles we would follow to help us achieve these. We are now developing our new Corporate Plan which will cover the three-year period from 2022 – 2025, taking into account the changing landscape of health and social care. Building on our current plan, it will set out our strategic outcomes and provide clarity on how we will deliver these outcomes and measure our performance.We want everyone with an interest in care and in what we do, to have the opportunity to share their views about our strategic outcomes and help shape our new Corporate Plan.
