The Wheeler Institute is pleased to welcome Stefanie Stantcheva, Nathaniel Ropes Professor of Political Economy at Harvard University and Founder and Director of the Social Economics Lab, for the second event of the series Public Policy in the Age of Innovation.


Stefanie Stantcheva is a leading scholar in political economy whose work focuses on the design of public policy and institutions. She is widely recognised for her contributions to research on taxation, redistribution and innovation, and for combining rigorous economic theory with large-scale empirical and survey-based methods. Her work has been influential in academic and policy debates on how governments design and implement public policy in contemporary economies.


The conversation will be moderated by Paolo Surico, Professor of Economics at London Business School and lead of the Public Policy in the Age of Innovation series.
