Join BFI NETWORK and Borderlines Film Festival for the chance to meet other filmmakers and creatives to discuss projects and all things film

We are back at Borderlines Film Festival for 2026!

On Sunday 8th March, BFI NETWORK will be hosting a FREE networking event in partnership with Borderlines Film Festival, enabling filmmakers and other like-minded creatives to meet, engage and discuss projects. We will also be talking about the new BFI NETWORK Short Film Funding and upcoming opportunities for Midlands Filmmakers and giving you the opportunity to ask your regional Talent Execs about the funds.

The event will follow Open Screen at Borderlines Film Festival - a screening and showcasing the best in locally made short films from filmmakers in Herefordshire, Powys, Shropshire and Worcestershire. So come join us for a drink after the screening, meet the filmmakers involved, hear about what we are up to in the Midlands and build new connections and networks.

The event will also have a Q&A with one of our Talent Executives, allowing you to ask any questions about BFI NETWORK Short Film Funding!
