Weekly parent and toddler woodland sessions. Parents/Carers come for free.

Overview

Come and be and play in our beautiful woodland site. Enjoy a snack around the campfire and soak up the sounds and sights of nature.

Nestled on the Wirral Peninsula, Weatherstones Wood is a five-acre working woodland overlooking the hills of North Wales. Once a Scots Pine plantation on an old quarry site, it’s now being carefully regenerated into a diverse, thriving habitat of native trees including oak, birch, rowan, hazel, and willow. Managed with sustainable, low-impact principles, the woodland is both a place of learning and a living example of coppicing, biodiversity, and ecological care.
