This year's Civic Voice Conference will take place in Liverpool aboard the Daffodil, a former Mersey ferry permanently moored in Canning Dock. Speakers will cover a variety of topics under the broad theme of Regeneration, from the country's first Townscape Heritage Initiative, to adaptive reuse, and the role of historic assets in successful urban regeneration. A lunch of traditional Scouse (or vegetarian ‘blind’ Scouse) will be served and is included in the ticket price.

For early arrivals, Merseyside Civic Society will lead a free walking tour of historic buildings that have been saved by hospitality companies at 15:30 on Thursday 16 April and host an optional group meal that evening at a nearby heritage venue.
