Overview

LitdriveCPD26 Conference, hosted by Aston University, Birmingham

Sponsored by AQA and Aston University, Litdrive are delighted to present #LitdriveCPD26.

This summer, Litdrive's annual national conference comes to Aston University on Saturday 11th July! In a beautifully academic setting, with central links, this will be a day of truly celebrating the English teaching profession.

The conference theme this year will be 'collaboration' and will focus on the continual growth of the Litdrive English teaching network. Our members are in English classrooms everyday, and learn through the collective power of sharing excellence as a result of this experience.

In a time of change, with a newly released Curriculum and Assessment Review, the conference will include expert speakers, the opportunity to discuss the changes and reform ahead, and of course, time to network throughout the day. Teachers will share their subejct knowledge, what works in their classrooms, and subject leadership insights that teachers and subject leaders can translate into the classroom to make an impact for their students.

Refreshments, lunch, and access to a wide range of brilliant, values-aligned exhibitor stalls are included throughout the day.

Tickets are exceptional value for money at £30. Book as soon as possible with your department, and be one of the first 100 attendees to secure a discounted earlybird ticket.

Confirmed guest speakers to be annouced soon...

All tickets are non-refundable.

Litdrive operates as a result of the time and donations made by the teaching community. We work with a series of partners to develop our work, and offer discounted departmental membership to ensure that the cost of Litdrive membership is funded by school budgets rather than individual teachers’ funds. If you are able to make a donation to the charity to support our work, give up your time to write a blog or deliver a subject knowledge session, or if you would like to advocate for Litdrive in your local area, visit our website Our Story.
