In this session, we will explore real‑life examples of small businesses that have transformed their practices by embracing cultural awareness, examining how they did it and the challenges and benefits they experienced along the way. You will also gain ten practical starting points to begin your own cultural competency journey with confidence.Theresa Ogbekhiulu is a racial equity advocate, EDI strategist, and social researcher. She leads race and ethnicity work at the Environment Agency and founded edutee global. Dyna pam rydym wedi datblygu ein rhaglen newydd, a gyflwynir gan hyfforddwyr sydd â dealltwriaeth ddofn o gynhwysiant cymdeithasol.-----------------------------------------------------------Our new training programme, supported by the Moondance Foundation, offers a range of business focused webinars, aimed at entrepreneurs who may face particular barriers to mainstream business support including people who are neurodivergent, disabled, have a mental or physical health condition, who have cultural or language barriers, or who are ex-prisoners. We also recognise that many within the creative industries require support with managing the business side of their work, and therefore we encourage participation from artists particularly who may be disabled or neurodivergent.For many people with social, cultural or environmental barriers, mainstream business support can feel hard to access. That is why we have developed our new programme, delivered by trainers with a deep understanding of social inclusion.
