Origami Crane Jar Decoration

Join Laura from L & S Crafts at A Touch of Craft Yorkshire, a craft space near Ossett, for a relaxing workshop where you will learn how to fold one of the most popular classic origami designs, orizuru.

Working with a wide selection of specialist origami papers, Laura will guide you step-by-step through the creative process of folding a crane. The simple origami techniques used will be broken down for you, making it easy to follow along. You will then be shown how to thread your cranes with your choice of beads to make a decoration in a jar.

Throughout the workshop, you'll experience the mindful and calming nature of origami. Focussing on the folds is a wonderful way to slow down, unwind and let your creativity flow.

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and those with some previous papercraft or origami experience. All equipment and materials are provided to make your crane jar decoration.

Drinks are available to purchase (cash only) at the venue. There is free parking. Please note the craft room is on the first floor and only accessible via stairs.

Minimum age for participants is 18 years.
