And Why London Needs It</h2>London is one of the most vibrant cities in the world, yet many of us feel disconnected, overstimulated, and yearning for genuine human connection.Connectival, created and hosted by <a href="https://ecstaticdancelondon.com" title="https://ecstaticdancelondon.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ecstatic Dance London</a> in collaboration with guest facilitators, is a response to that need.This gathering (we plan to run this every month with different workshops &amp; guest facilitators) offers practical tools for connection that you can take into everyday life through movement, presence, and authentic conversation. These practices foster deeper relationships with yourself and with others, particularly in a fast-paced city environment.Connectival widens the idea of love beyond romance into something more human and sustainable. Connection, community, expression, presence, and belonging.Connectival is rooted in consent, inclusivity, embodied awareness, and respect for boundaries.This is a space to feel safe, welcome, and human.In a city that rarely slows down, Connectival is an invitation to pause, move, and reconnect with yourself and with others. <h2>What Is Connectival?</h2>Connectival is a half-day embodied connection gathering bringing together:• Guided embodiment and connection practices • Authentic relating and verbal connection tools • An extended ecstatic dance journey hosted by Ecstatic Dance London 🎶MUSIC VIBE: Afro/ Brazilian/ World Beats/ Medicine /Shamanic ecstatic dance journey. • Sound journey for integration • Spacious time to connect, rest, or simply beAll held in a warm, consent-led, agreements-based, connection-positive environment.You are welcome to come alone, with friends, or with a partner. <h2>The Journey &amp; Schedule: (Scroll down to read more info about facilitators)</h2>💗2:30pm–3pm | Arrival and Landing Doors open, arrival, and settling into the space. ⬆️Upstairs: LAND &amp; GROUND: unfacilitated movement space. Stretch, move, sit in meditation, do yoga, or just lie on the ground and let the music wash over you. ⬇️Downstairs: HANG OUT &amp; CHAT: Space to leave bags/ jackets/ shoes. Hang out, verbal &amp; social space with taro &amp; oracle cards, chai &amp; herbal teas.💗3pm | Doors Close No entrance after 3pm to create a safe space for people at the event💗3pm-4pm | Connectival Opening Circle &amp; Workshop - facilitated by Seth Newman ⬆️Upstairs: The container begins. We talk through the agreements, offer a consent-based mini-workshop and answer any questions.💗4:10pm–5:30pm | Parallel Connection Workshops, see details below. Both are consent-based, and open to all. No prior experience needed, just a willingness to be present and human. ⬆️Upstairs: An authentic relating and movement connection workshop EMBODIED CONNECTION - facilitated by Sabi Kerr. This workshop blends authentic relating and embodiment practices to create a space for deeper connection with yourself and with others. Through guided exercises, partner interactions, and body based awareness practices, you’ll explore how to communicate honestly, listen with presence, and notice what is happening in the body in real time. The experience invites curiosity, playfulness, and grounded awareness, helping you develop more authentic expression and a felt sense of connection in everyday relationships. Optional touch may be offered and is always consent-based. ⬇️Downstairs: An embodied connection workshop MUSH® - facilitated by Seth Newman &amp; team of assistants, exploring presence, awareness, and connection through touch - always consent-based. MUSH® is a conscious cuddle and human connection community rooted in consent, clarity, and care. It is a non-sexual, agreements-based touch practice designed to support nervous system regulation, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging through safe, platonic physical contact. MUSH® is facilitated, structured, and values-led. It exists to offer something many adults are quietly missing: warm, human contact held within clear boundaries. MUSH® is not a dating space. Every session is guided, every form of touch is negotiated, and every participant is supported to stay in choice - with their body, their voice, and their pace.💗5:30–7:45pm | Doors open for evening Ecstatic Dance &amp; Cacao (no entry after 5:45pm so we can all journey together) 🎶MUSIC VIBE: Afro/ Brazilian/ World Beats/ Medicine /Shamanic ecstatic dance journey. ⬇️Downstairs: HANG OUT &amp; CHAT: Space to leave bags/ jackets/ shoes. Seth brings a wealth of experience holding heart-centered spaces. Seth has been running various body-mind integration classes and workshops for many years. A singer at heart, she connects deeply with the melodies and harmonies of ancient Europe and beyond. Through her singing, her intention is to guide you on a journey of reconnection and self-discovery, reuniting you with the source of who you are! She is passionate about bringing practices of rest and embodiment to others, has trained in 1:1 and multiple-handed Lomi Lomi bodywork and also offers sauna venik rituals. Diana has a keen interest in making delicious raw chocolates and raw cacao drinks for events &amp; private clients. She enjoyes blending spices to make her signature delicious homemade vegan &amp; caffeine free Chai for events &amp; is experimenting with new flavours! <h3>ECSTATIC DANCE GUIDELINES</h3>📌Ecstatic Dance guidelines: No booze, No Shoes, No phones, No Chit Chat, Move However You Wish, Respect yourself and others.📌Zero-tolerance drug and alcohol space! This is one of the very few spaces where Londoners can go out dancing in London in a safe and clean sober space. Please respect this, and please don't come drunk or high as you will be refused entry or asked to leave. No refunds!***📌Dancers enter at their own risk. Ecstatic Dance London accepts no responsibility for spontaneous joy, open-heartedness or sore cheeks from too much smiling (we also accept no liability or responsibility for any injury, loss or damage).PRACTICE SPECIFICS: Warm-up: stretch, move/dance and reflect on the intention for the dance to a gentle sound wave. The Practice: freestyle dancing to a large sound wave featuring Live DJ set. Some guidance &amp; facilitation will be provided. And then we will let the music, the community and our own inner space direct our steps, our movements, our expression, our journey. Relaxation: Ecstatic Dance usually ends with a deep relaxation.
