Join us for a fun egg painting session.

Discover the ancient Ukrainian craft of Pysanky, a traditional technique for decorating Easter eggs.

  • Our arts and crafts expert Kateryna Lohvynenko will guide you through the process, teaching you the intricate designs and techniques that make these eggs so unique.
  • In this interactive workshop, you will explore the rich history and symbolism of Pysanky while learning about the various tools and dyes used in this traditional art form.
  • You will be painting Easter eggs with traditional wax (Batik) technique. We paint with a sharp point that is dipped in hot wax and then in the end we will dip the eggs into liquid dye, after which we remove the wax and the pattern appears.

This is a fun workshop and you won’t want to stop once you get going!

All the materials are included.

No experience is required.Participants will be guided through all the stages and will end up with two or three beautiful Easter decoration to take home and proudly share with friends and family.

Just bring yourself and let the creativity flow!

Children 15+ are welcome.

Student £15

Time: 2 hours

All the proceeds will be used to purchase an evacuation vehicle for relief and rescue operations in Ukraine.
