Science Club - Bubbles!

Experiment, discover and have fun at our monthly Science Club for ages 5-9.

We’re forever blowing bubbles here at Science Oxford, join us for bubble science! It's double trouble, toil and bubble time, as crafty chemists mix up potions to see what works best. Experiment with super-soapy chemistry and create the ultimate bubble mix! Design and build your own foam blower, giant bubble wand, or a multi bubble blower to take home. Test the laws of physics to make the biggest bubble, a bubble inside a bubble, or a bubble caterpillar at our Bubble Challenge!

Suitable for ages 5-9 (accompanied by an adult)

Sessions:

10am - 11.30am

12.30pm - 2pm

3pm - 4.30pm

£15 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee. Admits one child and accompanying adult.

£5 additional adult/s ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas / café. All attendees need a ticket, for under 3’s we recommend the Family day instead.

What is included in your ticket:

90 minute club session for one child and accompanying adult

Access to:

- Access to the woodland, Water Lab and outdoor areas from 10am–5pm (last entry 4.30pm)

- Parking (limited availability)

- Café 10am - 4pm

What is NOT included:

- Access to the Exploration Zone

Event Details

All Saturday Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!

Science Oxford Centre Visitor Café

Emira's Kitchen café at the Science Oxford Centre is open on Saturdays from 10am-4pm, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and rolls. Families are welcome to bring picnics to eat at our lunch tables.

Important notice: Centre works

Due to the ongoing site improvement works, you may notice some changes to the area immediately outside the centre and access to the woodland and trails. There are temporary diversions in place directing parking (please use all available bays). There is also unrestricted free parking available on Quarry Road. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete these necessary improvements.
