Bike ride to Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club

We will cycle to Ashfields Carriage Carriage and Polo Club at Great Canfield via Woodside Green- where we will stop for refreshments to recharge our batteries for the return journey. The route takes us mainly along country lanes with little traffic and it's not too hilly! We will not be leaving anyone behind so don't worry about that.

Bring your bike, bike helmet, a drink of water for the journey and cash/card to pay for your coffee at Ashfields.

Plenty of time to get your bike out of winter hibernation, pump up the tyres, check the brakes and make sure it is running well.

Where to find us:

There are 2 route options- chose either the longer or cycle only part of it for a shorter distance.

Option 1 Approx 19 miles in total

Meet at the car park near Twyford Lock on Pig Lane at 9.15am for a prompt 9.30am departure. No charge for parking.

Option 2 Approx 11 miles in total

Park at Woodside Green at 9.35am and join us there at about 9.50am.This cuts around 4 miles off each end of the route. We aim to get back to Woodside Green by 12.10.
