We are pleased to invite you to 𝙍𝙪𝙗𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘 – 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙨, a live performance at ai. gallery on Tuesday 10 March.Presented as part of the group exhibition 𝘌𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘰𝘰𝘱𝘴, which explores the theme of sound and particularly, sonic entropy. This performance featuring Beibei Wang + Rubbish Music (Kate Carr and Iain Chambers) uses sound as a lens to examine the journeys and environmental impact of discarded objects.Through inventive instrumentation and reimagined materials, the artists trace the hidden afterlives of everyday waste. Blending experimental sound practices with percussion, 𝙍𝙪𝙗𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘 – 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙨 invites audiences to reconsider what we throw away and to listen closely to the stories embedded within our debris.The performance will be accompanied by video projection and photography by Mike Skelton.
