This is the 1st of 3 free webinars to help couples to strenghten their relationship in their day-to-day family life. The other webinars are:

You are welcome to come to any of the steps in any order - the focus for all the steps to help you, as a couple, strengthen your relationship as you navigate parenting your children together.

Strong communications between couples creates the foundation for a calm family life where your children can thrive.

However, couples can struggle to communicate in their busy day-to-day family life which causes stress, tension and frustration for both partners.

In this set of 2 webinars you will l learn how not to talk to each other and easy new ways to connect and communicate so you can strengthen your relationship.

The second webinar on communications is on Tues 19 May 7PM-8PM and you will have 2 weeks to try new ways of communicating between the webinars.

You’ll learn:

  • How to talk so your partner will listen and listen so they will talk.
  • How not to talk to each and what to do instead.
  • Tips on building a stronger emotional connection between you as a couple and with your children.

I encourage you to come along as a couple but if only if only one of you can come, that is fine too.

PLEASE NOTE: This webinar is only for parents who live in Somerset, UK and is not approriate if there is domestic abuse in your relationship.

If you think there is domestic abuse in your relationship please go to: Somerset Domestic Abuse

This webinar will be run by Ruth James, ruth.james@somerset.gov.uk, Reducing Parental Conflict Coordinator, Somerset Council who has experience of working with parents to reduce conflict and helping them to build a stronger relationship.
