Dive deep into Manchester’s Georgian and Victorian era through a selection of historic books, peculiar stories and how Mancunians built the Portico Library as a literature hub in 1806.
Guests will get the chance to handle a selection of archival items and historic books, including the original Portico Library catalogue. Lasting roughly one hour with curator Apapat Jai Glynn, you walk around the Library to see the exhibition and then sit down to handle historic items.
