Banner Making with Aya Haidar
Create a community textile banner with artist Aya Haidar, sharing East End stories for an exhibition at Oxford House.
Join artist Aya Haidar for a series of hands-on creative textile workshops exploring storytelling through fabric, memory, and making. Together, participants will collaboratively create a large banner to be exhibited at Oxford House as part of our Material Histories exhibition.
Rooted in the rich heritage of the East End’s textile industry, these sessions invite you to stitch, assemble, and experiment while sharing personal and collective stories inspired by community histories. No prior experience is needed.
