In-Person Networking Event: Psychological Safety

In-Person Networking Event: Psychological Safety

NCVOLondon, England
Tuesday, May 12  •  10 AM - 12:30 PM
Overview

Reserve your spot to deepen your understanding of psychological safety and learn how to cultivate inclusive workplace cultures.

Introducing a New Lens on Psychological Safety

For many organisations, psychological safety is a value that appears clearly in strategy documents but fades during the realities of day-to-day work. This event has been designed for those who want to close that gap and who recognise that meaningful cultural change requires more than policies or intentions.

This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding, broaden your perspective, and connect with others who are navigating similar challenges.

Why This Event Matters

Research consistently identifies psychological safety as a critical foundation for high-performing, inclusive teams. Yet many initiatives remain surface-level or short-lived. This session focuses on what genuine psychological safety looks and feels like in practice: how it is built, what commonly disrupts it, and what enables it to last.

If you are responsible for shaping culture or supporting inclusion, this event offers clarity, realism and actionable guidance.

What the Session Will Cover

  • Keynote from Sandi Wassmer, CEO at Onvero - Sandi will explore the difference between surface-level psychological safety and the conditions that truly allow individuals to speak up, take risks, and contribute fully.
  • Real-world examples - You will examine case studies that highlight both the progress and the complexity inherent in strengthening psychological safety, including the non-linear nature of cultural change.
  • Opportunities for networking - Engage with peers from diverse organisations through informal networking designed to encourage open conversation and shared insight.
  • Facilitated roundtable discussions - Participate in guided discussions that allow you to reflect, exchange perspectives, and consider practical steps you can take within your own teams.
