In Summer are woodlands come alive with some of Britain's most beautiful butterflies.

Join us for this special walk in a beautiful private woodland which is managed for wildlife.

We'll be looking out for fritillaries, admirals, emperors, hairstreaks and other butterflies in the wooded rides and glades.

Learn all about these amazing insects , their ecology, how to identify them and where to find them.

Michael Blencowe is a Sussex naturalist, wildlife guide and co-author of 'The Butterflies of Sussex' .

The event will be held near Barcombe (between Lewes and Uckfield).
