Sacred Andean Healing Teachings with Q’ero Elder Don Alejandro Apaza

During this special week of teachings with Don Alejandro Apaza at Wild Nest Yoga Studio, participants will have the opportunity to learn and experience powerful Andean healing practices passed down through the Q’ero lineage.

Each day focuses on a different aspect of this ancient wisdom tradition.

Saturday – Chumpi Stone Teachings & Practice
An introduction to the sacred Chumpi stones, powerful tools used in the Andean tradition for energetic protection, healing, and personal transformation. Don Alejandro will share the traditional teachings and guide participants through practical ways to work with the stones.

Sunday – Inca Kallpa Meditation & Chumpi Stone Initiations
A day dedicated to awakening and cultivating Inca Kallpa, the inner power and life force within each of us. Participants will deepen their connection with the Chumpi stones through further practice and initiation.
In the evening there will be an optional gathering with Louise and Maria to integrate the teachings through guided practice and sharing.

Monday – Chakaruna Teachings & Initiations
This day focuses on the path of the Chakaruna – the bridge between worlds. Participants will receive teachings and initiations connected to walking between the spiritual and physical realms in service to life.
An optional evening of music and community gathering may take place if the group feels called.

Tuesday – Haiwarichuy: Sacred Offering Practices
Learn the art of Haiwarichuy, the Andean practice of making sacred offerings (despachos) to Pachamama and the Apus. These ceremonies are central to restoring harmony and reciprocity with nature and the unseen world. In the afternoon, after lunch, we will prepare a special Haiwarichuy (Despacho) to reconnect with our spiritual mother (Pachamama ayt the place of our birth) and spiritual father (mountain/Apu) for health, abundance and happiness for all the participants and burn it together in a beautiful evening fire ceremony.

Wednesday – Coca Leaf Reading & Healing with Plants and Animals
On the final day, Don Alejandro will share the traditional practice of coca leaf reading, a powerful method for guidance and insight. The day will also include teachings on working for plant and animal spirits for healing, drawing on the deep relationship between the Q’ero people and the natural world and really helping those called to do so, to really step into their wardenship of this planet.

This series of teachings offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from an authentic Andean elder and to experience the depth and beauty of this living wisdom tradition in an intimate setting.
