<h3>About this event</h3> Discover reptiles on a guided walk around Mill Hill Local Nature Reserve in the South Downs National Park.Join Tim and Reuben, local reptile experts, at Mill Hill Local Nature Reserve on Monday 30th March, 9.30am to take a walk around this fantastic site, hear about the management and hopefully see some reptiles! Reuben won the 'BBC Springwatch Wildlife hero award' in 2024, and the 'Sussex Wildlife Trust David Streeter award’ in 2025 for his volunteering work with reptiles and amphibians.Bring sturdy footwear, suncream and water, and enough layers.Please also be prepared for very steep terrain and loose ground.This event may be cancelled at short notice – as it is weather dependent.This walk will likely take around 2 hours.The walk will involve scanning hedgerows from a short distance to avoid disturbing basking reptiles, so we recommend bringing binoculars if you have them.Our events are open to all SxARG members.
