The event is an opportunity for the electrochemistry & synchrotron communities to meet and discuss x-ray based in-situ/operando techniques.

Event details:

The aim of the workshop is to create a space for synchrotron users with different interests and degrees of experience to share their expertise and their vision on the use of Synchrotron-based techniques for applied and fundamental problems in electrochemistry.

The event will not be focused on a single technique or on a specific electrochemical topic, it will instead be open to a broad community and will aim to create a stimulating environment for discussion and exchange.

In addition, the workshop will be an opportunity for users of the electrochemistry community to showcase their research.

The event will take place at Jesus College, in Oxford. The venue is located in the centre of Oxford, and it is easily accessible by public transport.


Registration fee:

The in-person registration fee to attend the event is £130.

The registration fee includes access to the full scientific programme of lectures, plus meals and refreshments throughout the event.


Travel and accommodation:

Attendees will be required to cover the cost of their accommodation and/or transport to and from the event.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event that you may need to cancel or transfer your event registration, please make every effort to inform us about a possible cancellation at the earliest opportunity. Our cancellation terms are provided below:

• Registrations are transferrable without any charge, but notification must be received in writing to events@diamond.ac.uk no less than 7 days prior to the event start date. Failure to do so would result in a cancellation.

• If the cancellation is made more than 7 days prior to the event start date, the attendee will be refunded the full amount of the ticket, less the Eventbrite Admin fees.

• If the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to the event start date, 100% of the registration fee will be retained by the organiser. No refund will be made for non-attendance.

• Cancellations must be notified in writing to the event Organisers – events@diamond.ac.uk. All eligible refunds will be made by the method of original payment via Eventbrite.
