We Are Wakefield Networking Friday 1st May 2026
We Are Wakefield members and first timers will enjoy breakfast and networking at Nostell Priory.
We Are Wakefield First Friday Networking
Friday 1st May | 9:30am–11:30am | Nostell Priory
Join us at the next We Are Wakefield event at Nostell Priory as we launch the We Are Wakefield Manufacturing Forum — a new initiative created to strengthen not only our district’s manufacturing sector but the entire WAW community.
The forum will champion the achievements of Wakefield’s makers and producers, raising visibility across the region and shining a light on the incredible talent within our network. By connecting manufacturers with the wider WAW community, the forum opens the door to meaningful collaboration — from new partnerships and supply chain opportunities to shared challenges and collective innovation.
With proven cost‑saving benefits through shared resources and knowledge exchange, the forum will support manufacturers’ growth while creating opportunities for other WAW members to engage, support, and benefit from a thriving sector. It also offers a gateway to CSR and talent development by bringing businesses closer to education providers and charities across the district.
Most importantly, the Manufacturing Forum will cultivate a unified voice — one that influences the future of manufacturing in Wakefield and strengthens the economic ecosystem that benefits us all.
Be part of the launch. Be part of the collaboration. Be part of Wakefield’s shared future.

Our aim is to consider the needs of all our members and visitors to create an inclusive, welcoming environment at every event.
As we host events in different venues, noise levels and surroundings may vary. While we are mindful of this, networking and group gatherings can sometimes be loud, which we appreciate may be challenging for some individuals, including those who are hearing impaired, neurodiverse, or sensitive to sound.
If you require accommodations please speak to a member of the WAW team. A quieter space will be allocated.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us make our events accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
