Who are we?The AGBI is the only artist-led benevolent fund supporting professional visual artists unable to work due to injury or illness.  Our Children’s Fund specifically supports children of artists who have lost the support of one or both parents.Who do we help?Any professional visual artist, no matter what their medium, can apply for help if they have earned their living or major part of it from art. Surviving partners and orphaned children of artists are also eligible to apply.Why Exhibitions and Events?As part of our mission to raise awareness of our vital work, we utilise the exhibition space to host a range of exhibitions and events. The AGBI is not a commercial gallery, and it does not engage in the sale of artworks, our exhibitions highlight the role of the AGBI in supporting artists and to attract new audiences to learn about the grants and assistance we provide.

Paloma will discuss her inspirations and practice including the genetic disease that her work is focussed around. </p><p>Join us for this fascinating talk about the way that bodies can challenge an artist and inspire artists. Bodies exhibition is up and you will be sitting in the space with the work. </p>
