Join Urban Learners for a guided walking tour in the City of London.

Shoe Lane Library

We will explore iconic architecture and key artworks from Sculpture in the City, a free open-air art exhibition, with opportunities to sketch and take part in simple creative activities along the way.Starts and finishes at the Shoe Lane Library.1 April summary of guided tour:2:00pm: Meet at Shoe Lane Library and make our way to the first stop on the tour either walking at a gentle pace or by bus. Accompanied by Urban Learners and DCC teams.2:30pm: Once we arrive at St Botolph-Without-Bishopsgate Church (EC2M 3TL) our guided tour begins.4:00pm: Tour ends underneath the Leadenhall Building (EC3V 4AB), before returning to Shoe Lane Library.There will be opportunities to sit at the start and end of the tour. This is the first of three sessions facilitated by Urban Learners:· Wed 1 April, 2pm–4.30pm. Guided Walking Tour in the City of London with the opportunity to sketch along the way.· Wed 15 April, 2pm–3.30pm. Creative workshop inspired by Sculpture and architecture in the City of London.· Wed 29 April , 2pm–3.30pm. Creative Workshop inspired by Sculpture and architecture in the City of London.Each session is designed to be complete, whether you may like to come on one, two or all three dates.There will be an opportunity in May to showcase the creative work produced during these sessions.
