Am I able to bring my child’s siblings?

Yes please feel free to book a ticket for your child’s sibling if you want to bring them. But please be aware that tickets are limited and the activities provided at this event are aimed at Primary School children with SEND.

Is wheel chair access available?

Our Fire Station is entirely ground level so wheel chair users will be able to access all areas at this event.

Are toilets available?

Toilets are available on site, however we do not have a designated disabled toilet at this fire station.

Is parking available?

Parking is not available on station, however Asda and Sainsbury’s have parking a short distance away.

Will the event be noisy?

Accepted Answer

Noise will be kept to a minimum, no sirens or fire engines will be running. However if your child is sensitive to noise you will need to bring your own headphones/ear defenders if they are required.

Do the parents/carers need to stay?

Yes, children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.

Will there be a quiet space to take my child if they become overwhelmed?

Yes, a quiet space will be available should your child need it.

Yes, a social story has been created to prepare your child for what to expect at the event. This can be obtained by emailing the event organiser.
