FDCA Lunchtime Talks

The Friends of Dundee City Archives host lunchtime talks on the first Thursday of the month. These talks are free to attend and all are welcome - not just members of the friends.

Following on from December's talk about Dundee Corporation's first decade of Council Building in the 1920s, this talk will take us from 1930 up the outbreak of WW2 in 1939. Including: Wester Clepington, the Fleming Scheme, Becchwood, Mid Craigie, Linlathen and many more. Doors open from 12.30pm at the Glasite Hall on King Street. Please enter from the churchyard or the east side of the building (the lift is available from both sides but the accessible door is at the east entrance). You DO NOT need to bring a printed ticket.Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available to purchase before the talk.
