Understanding SEND Support : Navigating the Graduated ApproachWorkshop by the <a href="https://mksendias.org.uk/" title="https://mksendias.org.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Milton Keynes SENDIAS Service</a> delivered via Microsoft Teams.For parents and carers of children and young people with a special educational needs or disability. This workshop is for families living in Milton Keynes.Does your child need extra support with their learning? The SEND Code of Practice says that schools should follow a graduated approach to identify children in need of support, assess their needs, monitor progress, and secure appropriate support. This session provides information on what this process looks like in an educational setting and how schools should support children who do not have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).Empower yourself with the knowledge to advocate for your child's educational needs.This workshop is suitable for parents/carers whose children are on SEND support and do not have an EHCP.Places must be pre-booked.Please book your place via Eventbrite and we will email you the joining link.For more information please email contact@mksendias.org.ukYou do not need to have downloaded Microsoft Teams to be able to join.
