Music Generation - Made in Grimsby

Music Generation - Made in Grimsby

Overview

Come and hear the talent of tomorrow as part of this local youth band night with The Shortround, Grungy Bill, Foolish Resolutions & Rothko

Music Generation – Made in Grimsby

A night of live music from some of the best young talent coming out of Grimsby right now.

Come along and support up-and-coming artists in a relaxed, welcoming setting — whether you’re into indie, rock, or something a bit different, there’s something for everyone.

The night will also feature Helios (The Sun) — a stunning illuminated artwork by Luke Jerram — creating a unique backdrop for the performances.

Line-up:

Rothko

Opening the night with a solo set of experimental jazz and funk guitar, bringing something a little different to kick things off.

Foolish Resolutions

Foolish resolutions are a young rock/alt acoustic duo starting to get the ball rolling within the local music scene, they play the anthems you know and love stripped back, but with that unmissable power still there. Formed in late 2024 this is an act that you don't wanna miss

Grungy Bill

Grungy Bill is an eccentric musician and singer-songwriter. A post-punk troubadour with lyrics characterised by surreal imagery, dry humour and philosophical ramblings.

The Shortround

After a sell-out show at Wilton Fields, Shortround are already building a strong following. Expect a mix of indie classics from The Stone Roses and Arctic Monkeys, alongside their own original tracks.

Doors open: 6:30pm - 10pm

Tickets £5

A great chance to catch live music, discover new bands, and be part of Grimsby’s growing music scene.

Please note: Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18+)

There will be a cafe/bar
