Photographing Nature for Families

A photographer and biologist will accompany families, telling children more about nature and how best to photograph it

Meet by St Mary’s Church, Abbey Street, Cerne Abbas DT2 7JQ

Bring any camera, including phones, and learn about how to find and photograph nature in an interesting way. Learn about the plants and other living things you encounter along the way. Photographer Jane Tearle and biologist Pauline Pires will guide you as well as identify some of the minibeasts and plants you discover. We hope to print some photos taken by families to display at the Village Fete.

Wear warm/dry clothing if the weather is cold or wet. A close up / macro setting might be useful. Batteries should be fully charged. Children must be accompanied, and the accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of their children.
