Optimum Bumps is a free antenatal support group. It allows anyone with a baby bump the opportunity to meet others, in a friendly and informal setting, while learning a little something about pregnancy, birth and babies along the way.

<p>The placenta and umbilical cord are designed to provide your growing baby with all the oxygen and nutrients he or she needs for the nine months spent inside your womb, as well as for the first few minutes after he or she leaves it.</p><p>This is your chance to find out about everything from cord clamping, cord ties, cord keepsakes and cord blood banking to anterior placentas, placenta previa, physiological and managed third stages, retained placentas, placenta encapsulation, placenta smoothies and lotus births.</p>
