Three experts in their field will give short illustrated talks about Dorset Artists

Three local art enthusiasts will each give a short illustrated talk in Godmanstone Village Hall.

Their titles are:

1) Contemporary Sculptors working in Dorset today.

Speaker Jo Denbury was a journalist and editor on national newspapers. She now lives and works as a painter and sculptor based in Godmanstone

2) The Spencer-Watsons of Dunshay Manor
Speaker Helen Brown, is a retired Chartered Surveyor who was a Consultant for the Landmark Trust's conservation of Dunshay Manor which the Trust had been gifted by the sculptor Mary Spencer Watson.

3) Interpreting Place: Artistic Representations of the Dorset Landscape - A short presentation for the art curious on selected paintings including old masters and modern British.

Speaker Chris Biddle is a recently retired art teacher from a 30 year career leading creative departments mainly in the Buckinghamshire Grammar School system. Relocated to Dorset 2 years ago with family and currently living in and renovating a property in Godmanstone.

£7 each including soft drink
