Restore | Yin Yoga, Sound Bath and Afternoon Tea
Indulge in a morning of pure restoration for body and mind with gentle yin yoga, soothing sounds and a delicious afternoon tea.
Join me for this restorative morning of gentle movement, soothing sound bathing and the treat of afternoon tea at Ginger & Pickles cafe!
Yin Yoga
A slower, floor-based practice that encourages us to dip into our inner sensations rather than being overly concerned about making the right shapes with our bodies. This is a somatic approach to yin yoga, supported by soundscapes, where we truly make it our own practice. Beginners/newbies to yoga most welcome.
Crystalline Sound Bath
We rest in the vibrations of crystal singing bowls that can gently carry us into the slower brain waves states. It's here where the mind can re-organise itself and the body can enter repair mode, providing relief from stress, tiredness and even physical discomfort.
Afternoon Tea
Following our sound bath we'll venture down the road to Ginger and Pickles cafe at Lowe's Farm Shop in Byley for a traditional afternoon tea - sandwiches, scones and cakes! This is just a quick walk from the the village hall or you can drive your car down to the farm shop.
What to Bring
All props will be provided but feel free to bring your own. You will need to bring one blanket with you and you may wish to bring a small pillow/cushion for additional comfort.
What to Wear
Dress comfortably in layers you can move in. The vibe at Ginger and Pickles is casual so don't worry about changing.
Parking
Free parking is available directly outside the village hall.
Dietary Requirements
Gluten-free options is available but please note the kitchen at Ginger and Pickles handles food with gluten in it so there is a risk of cross-contamination. Same goes for nuts. I'll be in touch nearer the time to request any dietary requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: If you'd like to attend the yoga and sound bath session but not the afternoon tea please select the non-afternoon tea option at checkout!
