Step inside our listed buildings and enjoy a guided tour of our heritage site.

Step inside our listed buildings to see the newly refurbished spaces and find out more about the events and people that shaped Llanthony’s history, including an Archbishop of Canterbury, and King Henry VII.

See the stunning timber-framed Lady Margaret Hall with its majestic wind braces and wattle and daub, and experience the Brick Range’s Henry Dene Hall in all its glory, saved from dereliction with a brand new roof.

Available tours during our Open Day:

11:00am

2:00pm

Tours are limited to 15 people, and are charged at £8 + booking fee per person.

On our guided tours you can discover the origin of the name Llanthony Secunda, how important the Augustinian Priory became in Gloucester and beyond, and learn more about Llanthony’s extensive collection of surviving manuscripts.

Volunteers who have experienced the transformation first hand will also be available to answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to welcoming you!
