What the Giant Sees?
An Evening of Wonderful Astrophotographs of Objects in our Solar System, Galazy, and Beyone - all Seen from the Giant Viewpoint in Cerne
Garry Prescott has been a keen wildlife and landscape photographer for many years, and recently has become enthused by photographing the night sky. He was amazed to discover that there are relatively cheap and easy ways for a complete novice to do this. Much of his work has been done at the Giant Viewpoint.
Relax and enjoy a whistle-stop tour of the moon, sun, more distant stars and nebulae in our galaxy, and galaxies beyond the Milky Way. If the sky is clear there will be a live demo of the equipment at the Giant Viewpoint after the presentation (ie when it is dark enough!).
£8 including wine or soft drink
Doors open at 7pm.
