Why should I hike with the Girls Adventure Alliance?

All our hikes are carefully planned and led by knowledgeable, qualified, insured and first aid trained hike leaders.

Are dogs allowed on this hike?

Accepted Answer

Dogs are allowed, but should be under close control at all times. This route passes through farmland where livestock may be present.

Question 3

What experience do I need to have for this hike?

Accepted Answer

No prior experience is needed, though participants should be aware of the planned distance and duration of the route, and ensure they are adequately equipped. The pace will be set according to the group on the day and no-one will be left behind.

Question 4

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable, waterproof footwear (boots or sturdy trainers). Weather appropriate clothing (waterproofs, quick-dry top/trousers, insulation layers, gloves and hat). Enough food and water for the duration of the route.

Question 5

I can't come any more, can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Refunds aren't available for paid activities. If the organiser has to cancel the event (eg. due to extreme weather) then an alternative date or a refund will be offered.
