B&H FE Leadership Webinar Series Overview

Join us for the second in our series of webinars:

Strategic Inclusion in Action - From Intention to Impact: Creating belonging for all stakeholders through intentional leadership, effective implementation and meaningful measurement

Session Call to Action:

Inclusion is not defined by what we intend; it is defined by what people experience and the outcomes they achieve.

The shift from intention to impact is where inclusive leadership is truly realised.

●       Be explicit about where inclusion is working—and where it is not

●       Take deliberate action to design for belonging across all stakeholder experiences

●       Ensure you can confidently answer: Where are the gaps? What are we doing about them? How do we know it is making a difference?

Session Purpose:

To enable senior leaders to translate inclusion from strategic intent into consistent practice and measurable impact across systems, stakeholder experience and outcomes.

Session Overview:

  • This session will support senior leaders to move beyond intention and position inclusion as a core strategic and operational priority.
  • Through a structured focus on intention, implementation and impact, participants will explore how inclusion is designed into systems, experienced by stakeholders, and evidenced through outcomes. The session will challenge leaders to examine the gap between what is stated and what is lived, and to consider how inclusive practice shows up in decisions, culture and day-to-day experiences.
  • With a clear lens on inspection and governance, the session will strengthen leaders’ ability to articulate, evidence and lead inclusion in ways that stand up to scrutiny—while remaining grounded in what matters most: the experience and success of learners and staff.
  • Interactive elements throughout will enable participants to apply thinking directly to their own context, ensuring practical relevance and immediate takeaways.

Session Outcome(s):

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Position inclusion as a strategic leadership priority linked to learner outcomes, organisational effectiveness and reputation
  • Distinguish clearly between intention, implementation and impact, and identify where their organisation is strongest and where it needs to develop
  • Evaluate how inclusion is designed into systems and experienced by different stakeholders
  •  Identify gaps between stated values and lived experiences, and recognise key “belonging touchpoints”
  •  Strengthen their approach to measuring inclusion, using a balance of representation, experience and outcomes data
  • Articulate how inclusion can be evidenced effectively for Ofsted and governance, including responding to key board-level questions
  • Identify practical leadership actions to move inclusion from intention into consistent, visible practice

Optional Pre-Work:

  • Review any available inclusion, EDI, or learner/staff survey data.
  • Reflect on one area where inclusion feels strong - and one where it needs improvement.
