May Day at the Silver Well
Join us for a short celebration of Beltane in the Celtic Christian tradition - all faiths welcome.
To get to the Well go through the Cemetery at the end of Abbey St.
After the Wessex Morris Men have finished outside the Royal Oak (so Admission is free and no ticket is required. ) we will have a short celebration of the season at the Silver (St Augustine’s) Well in the Celtic Christian tradition. Open to all faiths, and usually well-attended by followers of pagan religions such as Druidry and Wicca, as well as those from no faith tradition.
Admission is free and no ticket is required. Timing is approximate.
The Cerne Giant Festival supports the work of the local Church of England Benefice, which includes St Mary's church, Cerne Abbas.
If you would like to make a donation then there is no fee charged by this website and the whole of your donation will be passed on to St Mary's.
