Discover Leicester with our free group walks. From green spaces to waterways and urban trails, Leicester is fantastic to explore on foot.

<h3>New! Group Walk: Around Woodgate Monday 13 April at 2pm Starting from the High Cross Monument, Jubilee Square Around 75-90 minutes. We include historic events at the North Bridge, a late Victorian library, a local biscuit factory, plus stories of local pubs, with light information as we go. This walk is presented by one of our Walk Volunteers. Booking information This short walk is free to attend, but numbers are limited so please book via Eventbrite to secure your place or phone 0116 454 2860 when booking has opened. Please note our phone line is answered during office hours only (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm), not at weekends or bank holidays.If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel via Eventbrite or contact us by phone (during office hours)so we can allow others the opportunity to attend.TravelThe city centre is served by buses. You will receive an email in the days leading up to the event with information about how to complete the form. You only need to do this once and can attend any of our walks thereafter (subject to booking a place on Eventbrite).Dress for the weatherRemember to dress appropriately for the weather. Our group walks will go ahead in most weather.
