PARKING & TRAVEL INFORMATION

The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (RWCMD) is centrally located in Cardiff and easily accessible by car, train, and bus.

Parking

• There is NO Parking available at RWCMD
• There is limited Blue Badge Parking which must be requested in advance
• Additional parking is available nearby at:
• Civic Centre Car Parks (Museum Avenue & City Hall)
• NCP Car Parks in Cardiff City Centre
• We strongly recommend arriving early to allow time for parking and registration

Public Transport

• Cardiff Central Station – approximately a 15–20 minute walk
• Cardiff Queen Street Station – approximately a 10–15 minute walk
• Regular bus routes serve the Civic Centre area

• The venue is fully accessible, including step-free access and accessible facilities

Is the event really free?

Yes. This is a FREE All Access event — but spaces are limited and registration is required.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No — digital tickets are absolutely fine. Just have your QR code ready on arrival.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the start to allow time for registration, networking, and settling in.

Can I attend the whole day?

Yes — your ticket gives you full access to all areas, including:

• Opening ceremonies
• Main stage sessions
• Zone experiences
• Exhibition floor

You are free to move between spaces throughout the day.

Do I need to book sessions in advance?

Yes— but all sessions will operate on a first come, first served basis within each zone.

Can I still exhibit at the event?

Yes — we have a limited number of FREE exhibition spaces available for organisations demonstrating strong EDI values.
Spaces are capped (maximum 20), so early application is advised.

Will there be networking opportunities?

Yes — throughout the day, including:

• Informal networking across zones
• Exhibition interactions
• Structured opportunities within sessions

Some of the most valuable conversations happen between the sessions.

Is there a dress code?

Business / smart casual.
Come as you are — just come ready.

Will refreshments be available?

Yes — food and refreshments will be available to purchase at the venue.
