Hamilton House Breathwork for Stress & Tension Release
A powerful deep Conscious Connected Breathwork session that will allow you to truly sink into yourself, leaving you lighter and more aligned
We are so pleased to be collaborating with Hamilton House to bring this powerful Breathwork modality to those who live, work or study in Stokes Croft. Our previous session did sell out - so don't miss out!
Now here's some of the detail...
What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?
It is a specific style of breathwork using a deep, circular pattern with two retentions and it ends with a scream - yes, you heard correctly! When are you allowed to SCREAM or SHOUT, we want you to RELEASE THAT STRESS and what better way of doing it - don't worry, if that sounds daunting you can shake your fists or move or stay silent - do whatever feels right for you and your body - remember its YOUR experience and we as your Facilitators create a safe space for you to do what is right for you on the day.
We use amazing music throughout the session to really allow you to immerse yourself in this deep Breathwork practise and truly shut out the outside world.
Our wonderful Certified Breathwork Facilitators will guide you through the whole session; you stay consciously engaged with each inhale and exhale which will lead to a powerful and insightful experience.
What are the benefits?
As we all know modern life is busy and often overwhelming.
Breathwork offers a chance to pause, reconnect with your body, and release tension, stored emotions, or stagnant energy, leaving you feeling physically and emotionally lighter. It can help you feel more resilient, with greater capacity, clarity, focus, and calm, generally and at home or work.
Over time, it also supports a deeper connection with yourself and strengthens your sense of self trust and self-leadership, we therefore encourage you to come along to more than one session to truly feel its benefits.
What do I need for the session?
You’ll need to lie down, so bring a yoga mat or something similar, plus anything that helps you feel comfortable—pillows, a blanket. You are free to wear whatever you are comfortable in, as long as you can breath deep into your belly and don't feel restricted. Have some water on hand and come with an open and curious mind.
What is the structure of the session?
The session begins with a brief introduction to Conscious Connected Breathing, a demo of the pattern and time to answer any questions that may arise. You’ll then get comfortable lying down with eyes closed, followed by a short grounding exercise. We’ll move into 2–3 rounds of breathing to music, with optional guided breath retentions, a release and then finish with a guided visualisation and reading while you relax deeply to music.
What to expect during a session:
As Conscious Connected Breathwork is a deep and powerful modality, it may therefore affect you phyiscally, emotionally and mentally.
Can everyone attend?
No, this style of breathwork is for adults aged 18 and over only.
