Overview

Your practice doesn’t grow by working harder, it grows by working well with the right people

When the Work Starts to Feel Heavy…

Sustainable Practice: Protecting the Practitioner

Some client work can feel more draining than others.

You may find yourself:

  • thinking about clients between sessions
  • working harder to move things forward
  • explaining more than usual
  • or feeling responsible for progress

This training day explores why this happens and how to work differently.

Focusing on client readiness, boundaries, and practitioner sustainability, the session offers a structured but reflective approach to understanding where the work becomes heavier, and how to bring it back into balance.

We will explore:

  • how readiness shows up in consultations
  • why insight alone doesn’t always lead to change
  • the difference between caring and carrying
  • recognising when you are working harder than the client
  • how to use your professional judgement more confidently
  • boundaries that protect both you and your client

This is a supportive, practical CPD session designed to help you feel clearer, more confident, and less drained in your work.

Suitable for:

Therapists, hypnotherapists, and practitioners across disciplines who want to develop a more sustainable and grounded way of working.
