Rooted Again London: Community Meetup — Thursday 23 April (10:00–11:30am)
For relocated women in West London who are done with small talk and ready to rebuild genuine connection, purpose, and community.
About This Event
Are you a relocated woman in West London who is tired of surface-level connections and ready to rebuild what actually sustains you?
Join us for a Rooted Again London meetup — a gathering for women navigating relocation, transitions, and the loneliness that often comes with starting over.
This is not networking. It is not a book club. It is not a productivity workshop.
It is a space to stop pretending you are fine and start rebuilding — together.
What to Expect
We will gather at Walpole Park for intimate facilitated conversation about what actually matters: genuine connection, clear purpose, and rebuilding after relocation.
Our time together will include:
- Introductions and shared stories of relocation
- Facilitated discussion around rebuilding community after major life transitions
- Connection with other women who understand what it is like to start over
No agenda. No sales pitches. Just real conversation and genuine belonging.
The Venue: Walpole Park
We are gathering at Walpole Park — one of Ealing's most beloved green spaces, and the home of Rooted Again's very first meetup in January 2026.
Pitzhanger Pantry is a relaxed outdoor cafe at the heart of the park, with coffee, warm drinks, and snacks available on arrival. The park itself is a short walk from Ealing Broadway station and easily accessible from across West London.
We meet outdoors in a natural circle — the format that consistently creates the deepest conversation. If the weather is genuinely bad, we move to our backup venue (see below) and you will be notified 48 hours in advance.
Weather Backup
If the weather is genuinely bad, we will move indoors to Cafe Zee, 5 New Broadway, London W5 5AW — a short walk from the park. You will be notified by email and WhatsApp 48 hours in advance.
Who This Is For
This meetup is for you if:
- You have relocated to London (recently or in the past few years)
- You are done with small talk and ready for real conversation
- You want genuine friendships, not just networking contacts
- You are navigating transitions — career, identity, motherhood, purpose
- You live in or near West London (Chiswick, Ealing, Hammersmith, Richmond, Brentford, Kew, Acton, Shepherd's Bush)
About Rooted Again London
Rooted Again is a neuroscience-backed peer community helping relocated women rebuild the three roots of sustainable wellness:
RECONNECTION: Genuine friendships and belonging, not networking
REORIENTATION: Purpose and identity clarity beyond roles and achievements
REGULATION: Nervous system restoration through community, nature, and rest
Founded by Dr. Marilyn Cyr, a neuroscientist and psychologist who relocated from Montreal to New York to London while navigating career transitions, motherhood, and starting over multiple times. She built Rooted Again because she needed it — and because she knows she is not the only one.
