Not at all. The best teams are mixed ones - developers, designers, HR professionals, people with ideas and people who can build them. If you've got a problem worth solving, you're welcome.

Do I need to come with a team already formed?

You can come solo and we'll help you find a team on the day, or come with your own group of up to 5 people. Either works.

What problem should we solve?

Something real - something that drives you mad every single day. At work, at home, in your community. There's no set brief. You pick the problem, you build the solution.

What AI tools can we use?

Accepted Answer

Any publicly available AI tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or any other platform you're comfortable with. No restrictions.

What do we need to bring?

Your laptop, a charged phone, and your ideas. We'll provide the space, Wi-Fi, and refreshments.

Is there parking at the venue?

No parking directly at Firepool, but Taunton Station Multi-Storey Car Park (APCOA) is a 2-minute walk on Station Road & Trenchard Way, TA1 1QP. Several other town centre car parks are nearby too.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, Firepool is fully accessible. If you have specific requirements, email us at info@hrnexus.ai and we'll make sure everything is sorted.

What happens at the end of the day?

Each team does a short pitch to the room , just a few minutes to show what you built and why it matters. No formal slides required, just show us your work.

I can't make it — can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are free so there's nothing to refund — just cancel your registration so someone else can take your spot.
