Overview

Six Spanish wines go head-to-head in a blind tasting battle. Includes fizz on arrival, tapas pairings, scoring, quiz and spot prizes.

Battle of the Vines returns with a Spanish twist, bringing together bold wines and vibrant tapas in a relaxed, interactive tasting experience.

This edition keeps the much-loved blind tasting format but shifts the focus to Spain’s diverse wine regions and how they pair with classic tapas dishes. Expect great wine, proper food and plenty of friendly debate, without any stuffiness.

The evening is structured as a blind tasting battle across three rounds. In each round, guests will be served two Spanish wines blind, supported by tasting notes to guide you. Your task is to taste, identify and score each wine out of ten before the reveal.

Each round is paired with a selection of tapas, designed to complement and challenge the wines. From rich and savoury to fresh and vibrant, you will explore how different flavour combinations bring out new characteristics in each glass, and which wines truly shine with food.

Whether you are wine curious or confidently opinionated, the focus is on flavour, balance and enjoyment rather than labels or price points. Results are often surprising and always spark lively discussion.

At the end of the night, scores are totalled and one wine is crowned the Battle of the Vines winner.

As ever, spot prize giveaways will run throughout the evening, alongside a wine themed quiz to keep things lively. At previous events, spot prizes were awarded to guests who booked early, so booking ahead is strongly recommended.

What’s included with your ticket:
• Six blind Spanish wines across three rounds
• Tapas pairings designed for each round
• Fizz on arrival
• Tasting notes and score cards
• Wine quiz and spot prize giveaways

Expect a social atmosphere, plenty of conversation and a few unexpected favourites. This is not a formal tasting, it is designed to be welcoming, engaging and fun.

Spaces are limited to keep the experience intimate, so early booking is recommended.

Come hungry, come curious, and get ready to decide which Spanish wine takes the crown.
