About this event

Many Healthwatch organisations were established solely to deliver Healthwatch activities and include ‘Healthwatch’ in the name of their legal entity (for example, a charity or CIC). Some have since changed their name and charitable objects to broaden the scope of contracts and commissions they can take on.

This session is aimed at Healthwatch organisations that want to understand the why, what and how of changing their legal entity, as well as those that have already been through the process and would like to share their learning. You will hear from the Co-Chairs of Healthwatch Surrey, Deborah Mechaneck and Jason Davies, who will talk about their experience of setting up Luminus.
