Overview

Break free from people-pleasing. Learn to set clear, honest boundaries without guilt and stay connected to yourself and others.

Stop People-Pleasing: Set Boundaries Without Guilt

Ever said yes when you meant no… and felt it later?
Held something in to keep the peace… then noticed resentment building?
Or finally spoke up… but it came out sharper than you intended?

Most of us don’t struggle because we don’t care, we struggle because, in the moment, something takes over. We want to stay connected, avoid conflict, or not disappoint… and we end up losing ourselves in the process.

People-pleasing, guilt, and emotional reactions are not flaws, they’re patterns. And they can be understood, felt, and changed.

This workshop is an invitation to slow those moments down, notice what’s happening inside you, and learn how to stay connected to yourself while relating to others.

Through guided, experiential exercises, you’ll explore how to:

What You’ll Explore

  • Recognise when you’re abandoning yourself to keep the peace
  • Stay present with uncomfortable emotions like guilt, fear, or pressure
  • Understand your triggers and respond instead of react
  • Express clear, honest boundaries without blame or shutdown
  • Stay connected to others without losing yourself

Rather than just talking about communication, this is a space to practice. You’ll engage in real interactions, notice your body and emotions in the moment, and experiment with new ways of relating, supported, at your own pace.

No “performance.” No perfection. Just awareness, honesty, and the opportunity to experience what it feels like to choose yourself and stay in connection at the same time.

Who This Is For

This workshop is for anyone who:

  • Finds it hard to say no or set limits
  • Feels guilty putting themselves first
  • Avoids conflict or overreacts in the moment
  • Wants more honest, balanced, and fulfilling relationships

No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to show up as you are.

What to Expect

  • A safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment
  • A mix of pair, group, and whole-circle exercises
  • Time to reflect, connect, and integrate
  • A small group (max 20 people) to keep the experience intimate

This is more than a workshop, it’s a space to reconnect with yourself, explore new ways of relating, and discover that boundaries don’t have to break connection, they can deepen it.

What is Authentic Relating?

Authentic Relating is about showing up as your genuine self—speaking truthfully, listening deeply, and building relationships rooted in honesty, empathy, and respect. Through presence and vulnerability, discomfort can become trust, intimacy, and freedom.

Why This Is Different

Unlike typical communication workshops, we focus on direct experience, not theory. You’ll:

  • Engage in guided interactions
  • Notice your body, emotions, and impulses
  • Practice honesty in a supportive, safe environment
Growth happens as a lived experience, not just a concept. You’re always in choice—there’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready for.

What to Expect

  • Practices to connect more deeply with yourself and others
  • Tools for building trust and intimacy through honesty and presence
  • Small-group, pair, and full-circle exercises exploring different dynamics of connection
  • Time to relax, chat, and integrate during breaks

Who is this for?

Open to newcomers and experienced participants alike. The workshop is best suited to those willing to explore, reflect, and engage openly—but participation is always your choice. No prior experience is needed. Spaces are limited to keep the experience intimate.
